These messages are meant to be contemplated upon. A casual reading may impart some benefit or some inspiration. However, each message is meant to shed light on the deepest aspects of our inner selves - on life. Hence, contemplation, sometimes, word to word, line to line, can transform our understanding on the subtlest levels and awaken an entirely new perspective on life. Through this new awareness, we can re-orient ourselves, our thoughts and emotions, and our actions towards a more purposeful and fulfilling life.
It was the dawn of 2019 when we had released the first part of this message. You can find that article here (https://www.tomorrow.world/post/come-back-to-life). The message was sent within the context of some premonitions that we had issued around 2018/2019 that forecast a particularly volatile period after 2020 (those articles can also be found on this website). However, this volatile period, particularly from 2020-2022 would also be a transition towards a new beginning for the world, where humanity would start a re-alignment towards a life-affirming way of living.
The original article was built around the short message from Sri Maharshi at that time:
You are Fast. Time is Short.
If not Wise. All be Lost.
Come back to Life.
We seem to have lost a lot in the last eighteen months. Humanity had developed a kind of arrogance that our technology could conquer every challenge and that there was no end to our material pursuits. Everyone wanted to live king-size. With the intention of plundering this beautiful planet, we wanted to colonize other planets also to satisfy our insatiable greed. Wisdom to live harmoniously with other life had given way to power to dominate other life. We had no intention of relenting our chosen way of life.
Then, half a microscopic strand of DNA entered our lives. What entire armies and countries could not do in the last half a century, a simple invisible virus accomplished by shutting us down. It slowed us down and forced us to look at our life choices. Nature got some respite - it started to heal itself. Humanity was isolated - left to ponder upon its choices. Humanity continues to suffer as we transition through this major corrective cycle.
This critical balancing act may have been avoided but the warning in the earlier message wasn't heeded by humanity. We were too set in our ways. Our politicians were too blinded by power. Our businessmen were too enamored by their loot. The general population was too drunk with their desires. Yet, the ordinary and economically disempowered citizen of the world had little or no say in his own destiny - not to mention the billions of plant and animal life which silently perished overnight during this period due to our wickedness.
This has to change and humanity still has the possibility of learning certain lessons from the ongoing crisis in order to reshape a different world.
This second part of the message 'come back to life' is relevant to our current times and is being relayed so that we can also prepare for a different tomorrow. This new message is given in three sections by Sri Maharshi as it is a kind of a life code to prepare oneself for the coming decade. Given the weight of this new message, we have divided the message into these three sections as follows: a) Awakening and Evolution b) Prayerfulness and Gratitude and c) Alignment and Attunement.
Awakening and Evolution
The collective jolt that humanity is experiencing is a kind of awakening by nature. If we perceive this call as something to be ignored so that we may continue in our old ways, then we may be opening ourselves for an even bigger shake-up in the future. If, however, we understand that this is an unprecedented opportunity to pause, to reflect, to introspect, and to question our adopted way of life, then we would have awakened ourselves towards a new possibility of evolution. Fundamentally, humanity has a choice in front of it - we can continue to live self-centered lives or we can expand our individual consciousness.
Angry people cannot create a beautiful and peaceful society.
Only the awakened, kind, wise, and peaceful people can make this planet heaven.
Nature is calling, don't you hurry, life is fast, time is short - aware we must.
Come back to life.
This abstract message from Sri Maharshi speaks to the essence of raising our consciousness. After all, anger is not merely an emotional outburst. It fundamentally stems from a very strong identification with our individuality. As this individuality separates us from the rest of life, the stronger the identification, the more angry and lonely we tend to become. Yet, without recognizing this false and destructive identification within themselves, people all around the world claim to be working on 'bettering the world'. People in high power in global institutions and large companies profess lofty visions of a beautiful world while they struggle with internal turmoil and anger. A beautiful world is not merely an outcome of rosy thoughts and deeds - it is fundamentally an expression of our deepest selves. If there is ugliness within, there is bound to be ugliness outside. If there is love and beauty within, there will be peace and pleasantness without.
Hence, we need to evolve ourselves into a new possibility. We need to transform anger into acceptance, envy into gratitude, hate into love, suffering into joy, taking into giving, and the individual into the collective. Without this evolution of consciousness, it is impossible for our life to flourish without the rest of life also flourishing. We might be able to succeed materially as individuals, but our life can never flourish in isolation. Hence, it is imperative to move beyond the delusion of self-importance.
With this realization, we will start the journey of becoming more aware individuals. This awareness will allow us to perceive the delicate interwoven nature of life. This awareness will allow us to make the journey from the mind to the heart - a journey that removes false identifications of achieving limited gains and opens up a bountiful and unlimited dimension of life. As we explore this possibility, we discover wisdom, we discover unconditional peace, and we discover our true compassionate nature.
Only individuals who have undergone this transformation can be true builders of a better tomorrow. And we believe it will be individuals from all walks of life who will lead the charge of creating a more beautiful world and not well-intentioned institutions. Institutions seem to have failed us miserably - from governments to international organizations to industry groups. Such organizations seem to have sacrificed the collective interest and succumbed to their own self-interests. But who is their to look after life's agenda for all of us? In this rising conflict of self-interest vs. life-interest, it will be conscious individuals who will bring the necessary change to the world and disrupt our prevailing destructive ways. Individual sparks will connect globally to create a transformative flame that will topple destructive and self-serving institutions.
So nature is asking us to slow down - be wise, be love, be aware and come back to life.
Prayerfulness and Gratitude
As we become aware and evolve our inner nature, we start to feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the gift of life - a gift that bestows us a myriad of experiences to feel the interconnectedness of life. As our experience of ourselves transcends our individuality, it is natural for us to share in both the joy and suffering of others. This is when the seed of prayerfulness is planted.
Prayerfulness is the quality of stilling ourselves and connecting us with the omnipotent creative force of the existence. This isn't to be confused with prayers which often tend to be a means of lessening our fears or asking for material gains. Prayers are still about the individual while prayerfulness is about the other. In a prayer, we attempt to speak to the Almighty. In prayerfulness, we learn to listen to the Almighty. In the silence of prayerfulness, we lose our individuality and we connect with the potent life force. In that moment, we are able to perceive the other. We are also able to appeal to the life force to have mercy on us, on others around us, including other forms of life.

Oh Almighty! Shower abundant Grace. We do embrace our well-being and perpetuate our living.
Oh Almighty! Forgive our faults, willful or inadvertent. Shower abundant Grace. We do embrace our well-being and perpetuate our living.
Oh Almighty! Accept us as you always do. Shower abundant Grace. We do embrace our well-being and perpetuate our living.
Oh Almighty! Shower abundant Grace. We do embrace our well-being and cherish our flora and fauna.
This internal dialogue between our Source and us is a powerful way of inculcating humility and a decreased sense of self-importance. This antidote is very important in our times when human arrogance has brought about so much suffering to itself and to other life. Practicing this on a daily basis puts us in tune with life so that we may be more aligned with its purpose rather then one created by our own fancy. Such a way of living is far more wise and beneficial to the planet then a self-centered one.
Sri Maharshi's prayer above encourages us to admit that despite our best intentions, we often make mistakes that harm us and other life around us. We don't need to lose sleep over this though. However, we do need sincerity in asking our creator for forgiveness. This will eventually bring greater awareness and lessen those actions that are not in life's favor. Similarly, a deep acceptance of who we are today and the direction that we have led in life is the best way to starting a new journey in a different direction.
With forgiveness and acceptance, we learn to put the past behind us. We acknowledge that we are a product of our past but we are also a possibility unto the future that can be shaped the way we want to. This future needs to be crafted consciously, with full humility, and an acute sensitivity towards all life. One of humanity's downfalls has been that it allowed its intellectual dominance to insensitively power over other forms of life including plant and animal life.
If we are to believe that we are on top of the food chain, then there are two ways of looking at our position. The first one suggests what we have done so far, that is, dominate and rule over those who are more vulnerable below us. Another way suggests that since we also possess wisdom and compassion, that while we take some of what nature has offered us for our needs, we also learn to look after the vulnerable below us. For far too long, humanity has positioned itself almost as an exclusive member of earth's ecosystem. This has to change, we are one of many life forms here and we need to embrace a fragile synergy with others who share the planet with us. This is more becoming of who we are as humans rather then the brutal lower instincts we have adopted that have led us to dominate thus far - much to the peril of the planet.
So nature is asking to us to slow down - listen to the creator, be grateful for the creation and come back to life.
Alignment and Attunement
The most effortless way to swim in a freshwater river is to go with the flow of the current. However, if we are not somehow comfortable with where it is leading us, we will struggle and employ ways to change our course. These efforts and actions may seem gratifying for some time but then we realize that it is actually easier to manage our movement when we are in alignment with the current. We also learn to surrender to the movement and destination of the current rather then our chosen direction. This has the added bonus of helping us reach our destination faster also - merging with the boundless ocean. So it is with human life as well.
We go through life believing that our purpose, our destination, our efforts, our will, is more important then the will of nature or the will of our creator. Herein lies the fundamental struggle for humanity. It is paradoxical but so is the nature of the mind that separates us from life. But once we surrender to the life current within us, it automatically nudges us in the direction that takes us towards fulfillment of our potential. We learn to enjoy the simplicity of life rather then the fleeting satisfaction of our material desires. Hence, rather then building castles in our mind, and looking for happiness in material wealth, we learn to enjoy this vast existence and the unending bounty that nature has gifted to us.
Nature has a foolproof system for human nourishment.
It is our possessiveness and greed that lead us to suffering.
Once awareness and humility set into our beings, it is natural for us to align with the life force within. This alignment is the first step to rebuilding tomorrow in a constructive manner that is not harmful. Again, this is not an intellectual alignment. As a humanity, for decades, we have been talking and postulating various theories about sustainability and circular economies etc. - only to find ourselves at the threshold of an apocalypse. This is because we have only employed our mental faculties, devoid of any values or self transformation, to impact change. Our consciousness remains the same as that of the dark ages, yet we speak of an enlightened era - it is a kind of folly that only humans are capable of!
The alignment with nature that we are referring to is a fundamental convergence of two life forces merging into their natural flow - without any effort or resistance. This is an alignment that comes from surrender. We surrender something limited within ourselves in order to fulfill ourselves with something that is of much deeper significance in existence - to consciously merge with our potential. Surrender doesn't imply that we take to laziness or inaction - rather it implies that the right action is innately initiated that is aligned with life's purpose for us. However, this alignment can only come with awareness and humility - as a natural process.
After all, awareness helps us to see that we are going in the wrong direction. Humility allows us to recognize that our efforts have brought little progress as we sought to resist a much more powerful force within us. Both together allow us to fall into the lap of grace - to join the stream of life and live with a kind of effortlessness and joy that few would have experienced. It is with this realization that we understand that nature will take care of us completely - as we are an indelible part of it.
However, if we keep identified with desires that we have adopted from our limited journey on this earth, we will see that it will fuel our greed in an insatiable manner. This, in turn, will fuel our possessiveness and insecurity. Worse, this is a vicious cycle that takes us deeper and deeper into fear and oblivion. But even worse, this kind of existence removes us from reality - divorces us from life - and makes us enormously destructive. As the great Mahatma Gandhi had professed, "The world has enough for everyone's need, but not enough for everyone's greed". Yet, this is exactly how humanity has led its existence over the past century - destroying much of the world's resources and wildlife in such a short period of time. This seems like a very unintelligent way to live - to destroy the very source that sustains us. Yet, it is self-obsession and greed that have allowed individuals to dominate in this manner. This is completely untenable now and a sure recipe of disaster unless we mend our ways.
Mending our ways means to simple align ourselves in the direction of life. Once aligned, we need to further attune ourselves with the ways of nature. Thus far, the physical technology that we pride ourselves on has only brought destruction to the planet. This is because it wasn't aligned with the intricate workings of nature. Only human beings, in deep awareness of themselves and the nature around them, can attune themselves to understand its finer workings. This leads us to an innate understanding of nature's technologies which are far superior to the superficial ones that we feel so proud of creating. After all, none of our technologies has been able to replicate the beauty of a peacock or the engineering prowess of an ant hill or the aerodynamics of a dragonfly. We only know how to mimic nature and aren't too good at that either. For the wise ones, it seems so silly that we will try and outdo nature with our petty creations. Rather, we should try and understand the magnificence and mastery of the creation in front of us. This can only happen from a deep attunement with the subject of our study.
From this deep attunement with nature, we will learn to create and evolve new ways of living that will be in synergy with life. We will find new ways to farm, to eat, to learn, to heal, to pray, to connect and to live. We have only lived life on the surface - attunement will allow us to embrace life much more intimately. This will lead to a new existence for humanity on this planet - one that facilitates our evolution and that of the grander universe. We will walk lock and step in sync with life around us - collectively embracing and celebrating the creation around us. This is a much more joyous way of living too - as our joy is multiplied by those around us. This possibility of attunement is in front of us to embrace today so that we can be part of the creation of a more beautiful and compassionate world tomorrow.
So for this attunement too, nature is asking us to slow down - merge with the creator and come back to life.
